• Sunday Feb. 5th - Suncoast Singers - Concert @1430 - Dinner at Vincenzo's @1615ish. Important Update. Due to continuing demand I have arranged the following: I can still get you with our group if you can let me know how many tickets you want. Aso, we can get you into Vincenzo's - sitting in the same general room but not directly with the main group. Here again I need to know asap so I can make arrangements. My cutoff date is the 25th. • Tuesday Feb. 7th - General Meeting - 1930 @Signal Cove Clubhouse. We have a very special speaker lined up for this meeting - Claiborne S. Young. Don't miss this great speaker and plan to bring a friend. Note: The Board has authorized the Finance Director to give one 50/50 ticket for each non-menber guest that you bring to this meeting. We have invited the Hernando Beach Yacht Club, Gulf Winds Yacht Club and Sea Ranch Boat Club to the meeting. Come early and bring friends.
• Thursday Feb. 9th - Tuesday the 14th - Crystal River Manatee Watch Cruise. We will have an open captain's meeting after the February General Meeting to go over the final plans etc for the trip. This meeting is open to any interested captain whether or not you are making the Crystal River Cruise. Click here for flyer
• Friday Feb. 17th - Social Committee outing at River Ridge Country Club in New Port Richey. Dinner [entree's average $14.00] is at 1900hrs and Brooklyn Benny is the DJ for Karaoke & dancing will begin at 2030hrs. Contact Joanne Hughes for more info and to make reservations [required]. There will be a sign up sheet at the Feb. General Meeting.
• Friday Feb. 24th - 1100 meet inside the Dunedin Historical Museum for a historic walking tour of downtown Dunedin. Cost $15.00. See the farmers market, stores, sites and the marina. Coupons for discount at local restaurants available. Contact Joanne Hughes for more info.
• Saturday Feb. 25th - 0900 - Our first Breakfast on the Beach at the South Pavilion on Hudson Beach. It will be a hot breakfast with sausage gravy & biscuits [yummy - a favorite]. Cost is $3.50 if you sign up before and $4.00 day of the event. There will be a sign up at the February General Meeting. Contact Chris Michaux to sign up or answer questions.
• Saturday Feb. 25th - 1030 - Captain's meeting after Breakfast on the Beach - same place, so come and eat first.
• Saturday Feb. 25th - 1300 - "The Snowbird Spectacular" First Race of the 2012 season. See Race Tab for details.

 

Don't forget - your 2012 HBYC Dues are due effective Jan 1st. To be in the 2012 Membership Directory your dues must be paid and received by Mary Knowles no later than Feb. 15th.

Note: All dues payments must be accompanied by a 2012 renewal form.
